Super-talented Kate Thornton has teamed up with the Jewellery house of Bibi Bijoux to create this glorious pair of necklaces, designed to be worn together for maximum impact (although they still look stunning apart!).

The first necklace is a chain of large cable links, holding a modern locket 27mm across with a Mother Of Pearl surround. In the silver locket are amethysts, and in the gold locket are rose quartz. The second necklace is a chain of smaller links, with 8 little bunches of rose quartz and amethyst stones (on both silver and gold options).

Both amethyst and rose-quartz are renowned for their positive properties, said to bring the wearer peace, calm and love, nurturing friendship and relieving stresses, strains and anxiety. Ancient Greeks even believed that amethysts could prevent and cure hangovers! What more could you possibly need??
